bathoutdoors.co.uk loves getting a bike up to its undercarriage in guts! Only problem with that is good 'ol British wet riding doesn't always treat BB's nicely. We like using the Praxis M24 as we have found you get a few extra miles out of them compared to the GXP BBs.
Description
This is our Praxis M24 BSA threaded bottom bracket for installing steel spindle Praxis M24, Oval Concepts M24, and SRAM Gxp cranks into BSA Threaded 68/73mm Road or MTN frame.
Tech Notes:
This BB is compatible with frames using BSA threaded BB shells and with cranks using M24/GXP spindles only.
M24/GXP cranks have a steel spindle that have a 24mm drive side and a step-down to 22mm on the non-drive side. See image in gallery.
What tools do I need to install this BB?
You need a 16-notch external BB cup tool with a 44mm ID.
Park Tools’ BBT-19.2 is an example.
